WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
The love and passion of coffee began when Co - Founder, Harry worked as a barista in the UK along side University. After meeting the Australian Co - Founder, Harriet they quickly came to the realisation that they weren’t the wine type of people. Their way of connecting was going to a cafe, sipping on a flat white while discussing their day to day life, future goals and Harry constantly telling Harriet that the barista has burnt the milk.
After moving across the world to Australia into their first apartment and saving up for their beloved coffee machine, they wanted something fun to start their mornings with, to feel they had something outside of their 9-5. They began capturing their morning rituals of making coffee together in the mornings at sunrise and creating the cafe atmosphere in their very own home. With Harriet’s love of capturing the moments and Harry’s passion for not paying for burnt coffee, the Bald Barista page began.
WHERE WE ARE NOW
We are passionate about creating a coffee community that isn’t full of bullshit, the reality is not every day is going to be perfect, not everyday you are going to pour the perfect swan, sometimes it going to look like a fat chicken. We want to support beginners, baristas, latte art perfectionist, or just your mum who wants to have a great coffee but doesn't know where to start. We are building a community for those who love creating at home, to be apart of the cock ups, the pb’s and the laughter's.
WHERE ITS GOING
Creating content has become our passion, we love waking up everyday making videos for others to enjoy and it has been so encouraging seeing how many people have supported us and loving the content! We created BALD Coffee Co. because we wanted to join a coffee community but we didn’t feel many resonated with us so we took matters into our own hands.
